Man Believed Shot By Nephew In Indianapolis Dies Later

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ Indianapolis police say a man has died after a nephew is believed to have shot him multiple times during an altercation.

Police say the man died Sunday morning at a hospital hours after the shooting. The victim's name was not immediately released.

Officers were called to a home on the city's northeast side late Saturday and found the victim. Witnesses told investigators the victim was involved in an altercation with his nephew just before the shooting.

Police say the nephew fled the scene in a truck and his whereabouts remained unknown Sunday afternoon.
