Man Sentenced in Dog Neglect Case

A Fort Wayne man has been sentenced for keeping his pit bull mix locked up in an abandoned house with little food or water for weeks.  Our news partner I-N-C says Reginald Culpher was sentenced earlier this week to 180 days in jail for animal cruelty.   A vet examined the dog and found it to it was underweight.  and was kept in a home, where water and electricity had been turned off and the temperature had reached 98°. Culpher admitted he had never taken his dog to a veterinarian.  The dog is recovering and puttting on weight under the care of a volunteer.
