Man Shot In Leg in Southeast Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Police are investigating a Tuesday morning shooting on the southeast side of Fort Wayne.

It happened at a little after 8 AM on Lillie Street near the intersection with Eckart Street. Witnesses told police that a car drove by and shot an 18 year old man in the leg. The man was reportedly discovered lying on the ground in the front yard of a home. 

Our partners in news at 21Alive say that the man was rushed to the hospital in serious condition. He has since been upgraded to fair condition. 

No information about a possible suspect, nor any more information about the victim himself, was made available.
