FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A 76-year-old Fort Wayne man is facing child molesting charges.

Oliver Ritchie has been charged with four felony counts of child molesting, according to the Journal Gazette, after Ritchie reportedly told police he molested a 9-year-old girl during the summer of 2014.

The girl and her family had been staying at Ritchie’s home at the time the abuse happened.

He has been released on a $35,000 bond and is expected to be back in court on Friday.

I’m not going to comment much about this topic, because it’s such a touchy subject.
..But Parents, please take an active role in your child’s life!
Teach them right from wrong.
Let them know that they can bring any subject matter to you.
AND, keep those lines of communication open. …even if you have to pry a little.
If you don’t, kids tend to bottle things up. They will keep stuffing it away, until they can’t take it anymore.
..this can end in tragedy, or wasted time.

Here, it is wasted time. This sod could have been locked up for the last 7 years. Hopefully the story ends here, and not with more people stepping forward.
