41-year-old Robert Fitzgerald of Fort Wayne is charged with several Class A child molestation felonies. Along with that he’s pleaded guilty to one Class C child molestation felony.

According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, Fitzgerald is facing up to 8 years behind bars if the plea agreement is accepted by the judge.

Fitzgerald was charged in 2011 for allegedly forcing a 9-year-old girl to watch pornographic materials.

Fitzgerald pleaded guilty to one Class C child molestation felony Monday. If the judge accepts the plea agreement at his sentencing next month then three Class A felony counts will be dropped.
