An 8-year old girl is safe after being pulled from icy pond Saturday in northern Allen County. According to state conservation officers, the girl’s father and brother were able to revive the her through CPR. It’s estimated she was underwater for about 2 minutes. She’s expected to make a full recovery. The incident happened near Tonkel and Schlatter Roads. The Department of Natural Resources reminds Hoosiers to stay off the ice, unless it’s at least 4 inches thick.
