Notre Dame Safety Eliar Hardy Cleared to Play

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) – Notre Dame safety Eilar Hardy has been cleared by the NCAA to play after being held out of games since August while the university investigated five players of possible academic dishonesty. The school announced today that Hardy is the only player allowed to return to the team this season. A Notre Dame spokesman says Hardy is traveling with the team to face Arizona State tomorrow.
