Winter Storm Watch for Southern and Central Indiana

INDIANA, (WOWO): The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Central and Southern Indiana. It will take effect late Saturday night and will run through Monday morning.

A Winter Strom Watch means there is potential for significant snow, sleet or ice. However, the majority of snow is predicted to fall in southern Indiana. Snowfall accumulations of six to nine inches may occur.

So far this winter, Central Indiana has seen 52.3 inches of snow which breaks a previous record of about 50 inches for the months of December, January and February.
