SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO) — State Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting following a stolen vehicle pursuit in Sullivan County.

Authorities say a deputy fired his weapon Friday afternoon after a suspect attempted to back into his patrol car near Shelburn.

The driver, thirty-one-year-old Marci Coleman of Jasonville, fled into a wooded area and stole a second vehicle before being apprehended.

No one was injured in the incident, and Coleman is now facing charges of theft and resisting law enforcement.
