FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Richard Samek will continue as President of the Fort Wayne's park board.

Samek, a local attorney, also is part of the Riverfront Advisory Commissioner. The board is comprised of four members. Those members are appointed by the mayor for four year terms.

The board handles budgets, adopts new programs and management policy. It also acquires and improves property.

Pamela Kelly, M.D. was re-elected as Vice President, along with William Zielke, who was reappointed to a four-year term as Park Board Commissioner. Cheri Becker is currently serving as a Park Board Commissioner.
