Plan Approved for Wind Farm That Purdue Will Study

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP): A developer has won zoning approval for a small wind farm where Purdue University researchers plan to study the impact of the large turbines. Indianapolis-based developer Performance Services plans to start building the dozen 432-foot towers this summer in the rural area north of Lafayette. The project is called Purdue Energy Park.
