Planes Highlight New Fort Wayne Military Park

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP): Five planes that have been flown by a Fort Wayne-based Air National Guard unit are featured in a new park recognizing the city’s military history. The new Baer Field Heritage Air Park was opened with a dedication ceremony Tuesday near the 122nd Fighter Wing facility at the Fort Wayne International Airport. The park includes a pavilion, picnic tables and a playground along with a Humvee representing local Army National Guard units.
