FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): One person is dead after a Monday night shooting on the southeast side of Fort Wayne.

According to our partners in news at 21alive, police found a man lying in the middle of Oliver and Oxford Streets, with a gunshot wound to the chest.

The shooting happened at 11 p.m. and the man was pronounced dead a short time later. His identity has not yet been released.
