Police Respond to Fatal Crash in Huntington County

HUNTINGTON COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Just before 4:30 a.m. Monday, emergency crews responded to a fatal crash in Huntington County. They say the vehicle involved was traveling northbound on US 24 East, just north of CR 800 North when it went off the roadway. It then went down an embankment, striking a billboard before hitting a tree head-on. The driver was found restrained behind the wheel unconscious and unresponsive. No other injuries were reported, and police are still investigating. The victim's identification will be released once his/her family has been identified.
