Purdue Warns Fairgoers to Remember Safe Practices

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP): Purdue Extension is urging people who attend 4-H fairs to remember safe practices for their health and the health of the animals. College of Health and Human Sciences Extension program leader Angie Abbott says fairgoers can minimize the risk of becoming sick by limiting contact with animals and visits to barns. Officials also advise against taking food or drinks into animal areas.
