STATEWIDE (WOWO) – Rain is likely to move into Indiana again this weekend. You might also see snow to begin next week.
“Precipitation amounts are going to be fairly light this weekend. We’re not looking at flooding or anything like that,” said Cody Moore, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Indianapolis.
Moore says places all across the state are supposed to get rain on Saturday, but he emphasized that this would be just “plain rain” as opposed to the freezing rain that fell earlier in the week.
Snow is likely Monday night into Tuesday.
“This system looks like it is moving in from the south, but we’ll know more about that in the coming days,” said Moore.
He doesn’t believe there will be any severe weather with this. Moore is, however, telling you to watch out for fog on Saturday.
“I mean it’s totally possible Saturday morning that we could see some fog, but it looks like the fog potential was higher Thursday morning than it was this weekend, so it’s not totally out of the question,” said Moore.
The start of school in some districts across the state was delayed Thursday morning because they were under a dense fog advisory.
