INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ Polling sites have closed across Indiana for a primary in which an absence of high-profile races contributed to mostly low voter turnout.
Voters were deciding Republican and Democratic nominees for Indiana's nine U.S. House seats, but neither of the state's U.S. senators are up for re-election this year.
The 2014 primary campaign was far quieter than two years ago. That's when tea-party-backed state Treasurer Richard Mourdock defeated longtime U.S. Sen. Richard Lugar in the GOP primary.
Nominees for all 100 Indiana House seats and half the state Senate were on the ballot, along with county races for offices such as prosecutors, sheriffs and judges.
