Search warrant at Fort Wayne home, cocaine and meth found

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – The Fort Wayne Police Department Emergency Services Team served a search warrant around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday at a home on Brazo Lane.

Detectives previously received information that the suspect, Torrence J. Larry, was selling narcotics from the home.

Detectives followed up with the information and purchased both cocaine and heroin from Larry on multiple occasions.

After searching the home Tuesday morning, detectives found 10.5 grams of cocaine and 12 grams of crystal methamphetamine. They also found a stolen Glock Model 26, .45 caliber near the recovered narcotics.

Larry is a serious violent felon, and has been previously convicted of armed bank robbery and drug dealing charges.

Larry has been charged with four counts of dealing cocaine, one count dealing cocaine or narcotic drug, one count dealing methamphetamine, one count possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon, and one count maintaining common nuisance.

He is being held at a $310,000 bond.

This matter is still under investigation.
