WARSAW, Ind. (WOWO): A seven-year-old boy is in critical condition after he was hit by a van yesterday afternoon in Kosciusko County.

According to our partners in news at 21Alive, it happened at a home on South Warbler Lane in Warsaw.

The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department says he was hit by a vehicle driven by a woman who lives with him, who didn’t see the boy and thought he was inside when she started to leave the home.

He was taken to a Fort Wayne hospital.
