COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. (WOWO): A four-month investigation led to the arrest of a Columbia City sex offender.

John W. Rowe, 39, was preliminarily charged with three felony counts of possession of child pornography.

Indiana State Police investigators received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in December 2015 that led to the investigation of a cloud storage service he was allegedly uploading pictures onto.

Police arrested Rowe Wednesday after conducting a search warrant. He’s been booked into Whitley County Jail without bond.

Rowe has been a registered sex offender since 2011.
