State Law Enforcement to Crack Down on Impaired Driving

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): Starting this Friday and running through March 23, Indiana State Police will include saturation patrols and sobriety checkpoints throughout the entire state as part of an effort known as “Operation Pull Over”. Officials say they'll have a strong, visible presence aimed at deterring dangerous driving and getting impaired drivers off Hoosier highways. During 2013's Operation Pull Over, there were a total of 388 crashes in the state where alcohol and/or illegal drugs were considered a contributing factor in the crash.
