Troopers are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a gray SUV style Jeep which fled the scene of a fatal crash on I-69 near the 264 mile marker in Grant County.   

The crash happened around 1:30 p.m. The Jeep should have heavy front end damage and possibly some other side damage.

Anyone with information about the Jeep should their local police department or the Indiana State Police at 1-765-473-6666. 

Drivers try and avoid the northbound lanes of I-69 near the 264 mile marker, as they will be closed for quite some time.
