FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):
Fort Wayne Community Schools is again sponsoring the Summer Food Service Program for Children, which provides free meals to children 18 and younger and to adults enrolled in a state-approved educational program for the mentally or physically disabled. The meal program was made to serve nutritious meals to children when school breakfast and lunch meals aren’t available. SFSPC reimburses organizations that prepare and serve meals to eligible children during the summer.
Meals are served Monday through Friday, unless otherwise noted, at 41 places. Most sites open on Monday, June 9, and end Friday, Aug. 1.
