Firefighters are working on putting out a house fire on West Wayne Street that started just before noon. We’ll have more details as they become available.

Earlier this morning, another fire broke out on Blackhawk Lane, off of Lahmeyer. Firefighters got the call around 7:20, and say the home is now badly damaged. Two adults were inside at the time, but managed to escape and are not injured. The cause is still under investigation.
