FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): One Fort Wayne business says tariffs imposed by President Trump on goods from China are increasing their costs.

Sweetwater Sound says the latest round of tariffs on raw materials and goods from China are already having an impact on the music industry, as China produces many of the components used in musical instruments and equipment.

The company anticipates prices going up as much as 25% in the coming months, with electronic components like speakers, mixers, keyboards, and electronic drums being the first affected.

Sweetwater is one of the largest dealers in the country in musical equipment.
