FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne Community Schools employee who used to coach softball for Norwell has died.

Scott Hanni was critically injured Sunday morning after his bicycle was hit by a car in Wells County, according to the News-Sentinel, after Hanni’s bike crossed into the intersection of County Roads 1100 North and 100 East.

He was taken to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, where he died Sunday afternoon.

Hanni had coached and taught for Norwell before joining Fort Wayne Community Schools as a media specialist.
