STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A man is dead after fleeing police and then crashing into a semi-truck in Steuben County Tuesday night. According to the Journal Gazette, 25-year-old Brice Bassett, of Angola, struck a semi head-on as he was trying to get away from police on I-69. Bassett was airlifted to a hospital in critical condition, and later died. The crash is still under investigation.
