STATEWIDE, Ind. (WOWO) — It’s due to revisions in Indiana’s child labor laws.

The modifications were made to more closely align Indiana law with federal requirements with most of the biggest revisions extending exemptions to certain 14-and 15-year-olds.

The Indiana Department of Labor says 14-and 15-year-olds may work until 9 pm on any day of the week between June 1st and Labor Day, with some exceptions.
