A Larwill man was critically injured early Sunday morning on State Road 14 in Kosciusko County. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s deputies say Jeff Reiff tossed from his car after it went airborne, rolled several times and struck a utility pole near the intersection of Packerton Road west of South Whitley. Reiff was airlifted to a Fort Wayne hospital.  Authorities say Reiff was not wearing a seat belt and the police report suggests excessive speed and alcohol may have contributed to the accident. A passenger in that vehicle was reported in fair condition at a Kosciusko County hospital.
