Two Injured in Topeka Crash

TOPEKA, Ind. (WOWO): Two people were injured in a Thursday morning crash east of of Topeka in LaGrange County.

Authority say it happened just before 9:30. A vehicle driven by 25-year-old Derek White of LaGrange lost control on County Road 700 South and struck a utility pole.

Two passengers, 29-year-old Walter Slone and 39-year-old Justin Conley of both Wolcottville were taken to a LaGrange hospital with head and neck pain.

Police say icy conditions were a factor in the crash.
