Two Men Busted for Day-Time House Burglaries

Kosciusko County police arrested two Warsaw men on preliminary charges of burglary after a Friday incident.

Officers got a call last Friday about a burglary at a home on Syracuse/Webster Road. Once they got on the scene, they found Corey Ritchie, 24, of Warsaw, being held by relatives of the homeowners. Officers also found some items he tried to steal. He was then taken to the Kosciusko County Jail.

Then on Saturday police were led to the home of Zackery Hernandez, 23, of Warsaw. Once there, they found evidence that linked him to at least one other residential burglary. Hernandez was arrested and preliminarily charged.

Sheriff’s detectives stated that the two men have been correlated to at least three different residential burglaries in the last two months.

Ritchie’s bond was set at $50,000 while Hernandez’s bond was set at $10,000.
