FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): This afternoon, city leaders will gather to recognize two retiring Fort Wayne Reserve Police Officers with over 60 combined years of volunteered service.
At 2:00PM Mayor Tom Henry and Chief of Police Rusty York will honor Fort Wayne Reserve Police Officers Bennie Edwards and Hank Sims who combined have contributed over 60-years of uncompensated volunteer police service to the City of Fort Wayne.
Edwards has 32-years of service from 1981-2013 and Sims has 29-years of service from 1984-2013.
