Young Columbia City Entreprenuer Loses Battle With Cancer

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The owner of the area Poptique popcorn shops has died.

Hively's entrepreneurial spirit earned her a spot on the Fort Wayne Business Weekly's 40 Under 40 list.

Columbia City Mayor Ryan Daniel told WOWO news that she was an outside-of-the-box thinker who had a unique perspective. He says Hively's youth and energy were something northeast Indiana needed.

Hively battled cancer since she was diagnosed in September of last year. She passed away Thursday.
