16-Year-Old Girl Fatally Shot in C. Indiana Home

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (AP): Police say a 16-year-old girl has died after being shot inside a suburban Indianapolis home.
 
       Noblesville police say a 20-year-old man was arrested on preliminary charges of criminal recklessness and pointing a firearm in connection with the shooting late Sunday.
 
       Noblesville police Lt. Bruce Barnes says Aubrey Peters was shot in the chest and was pronounced dead a short time later. Three people were inside the house with Peters when the shooting happened.
 
       Police said the circumstances of the shooting were still being investigated.
