A Vote Could Happen on Huntertown’s Sewer Rates

By Scott Sarvay

Huntertown, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) – The Huntertown Town Council will once again address proposed new sewer rates and area residents will have a chance to sound-off at Monday’s public hearing, held at 6 p.m. at the Huntertown Town Hall.

Sewer bills would go from a flat-rate of $21-25 per month, to one based on “volume.”

That means the bill for a typical household that uses 5,000 gallons of water would jump more than 50-percent, up to $34-80 per month.

Council is expected to vote and we’ll have the latest for you tonight.
