Man Charged in Walgreen’s Arson

A Fort Wayne man has been charged with trying to set fire to the Walgreen’s Drug Store on Coliseum near State.  According to the Journal Gazette, customers reported smelling smoke inside the store, and when employees went outside, they found two fires next to the business and putt them out.  Police reportedly found 59-year-old Kyee Myint near the store shortly after that.  Surveillance video showed him in the store arguing with a manager and later in the area of one of the fires when it started.  He was booked into the Allen County Jail on two felony counts of attempted arson.  His bail was set at $20,000.
