ELKHART, Ind. (WOWO) — It was back on December 16th, when Garcia brought the child to Elkhart General Hospital, claiming the toddler had fallen on hardwood floors days earlier.

Doctors determined the injuries, including a skull fracture, were consistent with abuse.

Investigators searched Garcia’s phone and found videos showing the toddler healthy at 4:25 that afternoon but in visible distress by 5:45 the same day.

The child died on December 20th.
