Shooting Victim in Critical Condition

Police are investigating a late night shooting that happened Friday night.  Just after 9:00 p.m., police got a call about a man suffering from a gunshot wound, at the Sunoco Gas Station located at 624 East Lewis Street. 

Once officers arrived on scene and they found the male victim and he was taken to a local hospital in serious condition. His condition was later downgraded to critical condition.

According to police, the victim walked into the store alone and stated he had been shot. He then asked the clerk to call the police.

Right now, detectives are interviewing witnesses and investigating where the shooting occurred.  No arrests have been made and there are no suspects at this time.
