A high-speed chase ends with the suspect getting stuck in a tree…

Early Saturday morning, a Winona Lake man led Warsaw Police on chase that reached speeds up to 100 miles per hour, but it ended when officers say 23-year-old Jeremy Neibert smashed into a tree.

Police, along with a K-9 followed his footprints in the snow from the car to a nearby wooded area, that’s where they found him…8 feet up with his knee stuck in a tree.

Firefighters were called and rescued Neibert.

He faces resisting, fleeing and criminal recklessness charges. Three other people inside his car during the chase have been released.
