Police got a call just after 8:30 this morning, about a shooting outside a home on Abbott Street near Pontiac.

According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, 23-year-old Demarcus Adams was hit by gunfire and taken to the hospital in fair to serious condition.

Police are still investigating and say no suspect information is currently available.
