$30 Million Approved for Water Pollution Control Plant

The Fort Wayne Board of Public Works has approved more than $30 million dollars in upgrades at the city’s Water Pollution Control Plant.

According to the Journal Gazette, it’s all a part of a long-term project, designed to reduce the amount of raw sewage that ends up in Fort Wayne rivers.

Part of the project will include a separation of the systems that carry sewage and those that carry storm runoff, preventing the wastewater from ending up in the rivers.
