STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind (WOWO): Over the weekend, the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office was called to investigate a theft from a vehicle in the Lake James Golf Course area. 

While officers were gathering information a suspicious vehicle was found in the area, sitting inside was 19-year-old Christian Garcia and a 17 year old boy, both from Angola. 

Both subjects confessed to the theft, they also confessed to taking items from other unlocked vehicles in the Lake James area.

 Anyone that has items missing from over the weekend is asked to contact the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office at 260-668-1000 extension 5000.

Garcia is in the Steuben County Jail and charges were filed through the Steuben County Probation Department on the juvenile.
