Huntington Man Injured In Icy I-69 Crash

DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO) — A 66-year-old Huntington man was injured Thursday after losing control of his vehicle on Interstate 69 due to icy road conditions, according to our partners in news at 21ALIVE.

According to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department, Stephen Cromer was driving southbound on I-69 near the 339-mile marker when his truck hit a patch of black ice. Authorities said the vehicle slid off the roadway, entered a ditch, and rolled onto its roof.

Cromer was transported to a local hospital with a minor head injury, deputies said.

His 2002 Toyota Tundra was totaled in the crash.
