Police Identify Victims from Avondale Drive Shooting

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Shots rang out Friday night just before 10:30 p.m. sending 28-year-old Willie Martin and 27-year-old Carleon Ragsdale to the hospital.

Martin was taken to the hospital in critical condition and Ragsdale in serious condition.  

According to police a group of men were in front of a home on Avondale Dr, when an unidentified man approached the group, then opened fire, striking the two victims.

 

Martin collapsed after being shot and Ragsdale was able to run across the street before collapsing.

 

The shooter was described as a male black, wearing a white shirt, black shorts, and black and white shoes. At this time there are no suspects and no one is in custody, but in the meantime, the investigation is still ongoing.
