FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A man faces charges after he beat his mother with the lid of a toilet tank. Jeffery Jenkins waited for a half hour in his hotel room at the Travel Inn while his mom lay bleeding on the floor following the attack, which came after she confronted him about his drug use and forging her checks. According to the Journal Gazette, Jenkens then took his mom's car and ATM card and withdrew money from it. Jenkins' mother was taken to a hospital by paramedics. He was arrested two days after last week's attack.
