Woman Charged With Murder After Fatal Shooting On Griswold Drive

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) — A 22-year-old woman has been charged with murder following a fatal shooting investigation Friday morning on Fort Wayne’s south side.

According to the Fort Wayne Police Department, officers responded to the 1800 block of Griswold Drive at approximately 9:35 a.m. on May 9, 2026, after receiving reports of shots fired.

When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered an adult woman deceased.

Patrol officers later located a suspect nearby, identified as Arionna Miller.

Detectives with the FWPD Homicide Unit responded and launched a criminal investigation. Following the investigation, detectives confirmed Miller as the suspect in the case.

Miller was preliminarily charged with murder and transported to the Allen County Jail.

The investigation remains ongoing.
