Juvenile in Critical Condition after Weekend Shooting

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Saturday night around 8:12 p.m., the Fort Wayne Police department received a call about a shooting on Colerick Street.

Once officers arrived on the scene they found a juvenile male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition, where doctors downgraded him to critical condition.

Further investigation indicates that the victim may have known the shooter.  There is a person of interest currently in custody.  In the meantime, police are investigating.
