INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO) – A documentary about a Fort Wayne man’s quest to grow the world’s tallest sunflower is set to premiere at the Indy Shorts Film Festival in Indianapolis.

“Bloom” follows Alex Babich’s journey from breaking Indiana records to earning the Guinness World Record for the tallest sunflower.

The film explores Babich’s passion for gardening, his family’s roots in Fort Wayne, and the determination behind the record-breaking achievement.

“Bloom” will be screened twice during the festival, on July 22 and July 26, with tickets now available for both showings.
