ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): The Allen County Board of Commissioners has announced a date and location for a public hearing on the Allen County Zoning Ordinance draft recommended by the county plan commission. The key point is to update and align the Fort Wayne and Allen County zoning ordinances as part of work to improve, clarify, and streamline the development and permitting processes. The commissioners can choose to adopt, reject, or amend the proposal. If they don’t adopt the proposal, it will go back to the plan commission for consideration. The hearing is scheduled for Friday, December 6^th, at 10:00 A.M., in the Council Courtroom of Citizens Square.
