60th Basic Recruit Class of FWPD to Start Training

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The next batch of local police officers will start their training on Monday. The 60th basic recruit class of the Fort Wayne Police Department, with 22 recruits, will begin their journey towards becoming fully commissioned officers. You may remember back in June of last year, the Fort Wayne City Council approved a tax increase that allowed for the department to move ahead in starting the recruitment process.
